What’s the source of your bloody corpse?
Is it monotony? The days bitter end?
What’s the reason for your shredded torso?
Is it caused by a shitty boyfriend?
Meet me in infirmary
I got some bandages for your bloody head
Come find me in infirmary
I’ll save a seat for you among the dead
What’s the worst of the mutilation?
Is it the gore, or the reapers breath?
What’s the reason for your hesitation?
Are you choking cuz you’re scared to death?
Meet me in infirmary
I got some bandages for your bloody head
Come find me in infirmary
I’ll save a seat for you among the dead
I’ll be careful with the application
Of medication and on and on and on
Instruments made for healing
Because they’re caring
And gentle too
I know how you feel about it
They didn’t use agents to numb the agony
But we’ve got a wide array
To kill the pain and on and on
Meet me in infirmary
I got some bandages for your bloody head
Come find me in infirmary
I’ll save a seat for you among the dead
Hotlanta's dirge miners present heavy riff force, sure, but also hooks: drive-by melodies that stun and fade as the band, like Jaws, harkens toward blood and chomps folks. Snotty, smart vocals, occult trappings. Thankfully this is a punk (not "post-punk") affair, but I hear Gordons and Flesh Eaters as well as (Australian) X, The Eat or Filth.
