My feet are always broken from walking by your house so many times
The pain it’s caused shreds, but not where you think
Oh
You ALWAYS wanna know if they’re broken
Swollen
Bleeding
Like a faulty system that’s aching
Breaking
Leaking
You call me every time that he hurts you
Scornes you
Ignores you
Always winding up feeling broken
Bleeding
Cheated
Right outta your mind
My conviction to this cause will never be undone or hidden in a rolled up blanket
I’ll never skip your street when I’m walking
Oh
I know what it’s like to feel naked
Grated
Depleted
I once had a thing with a crazy
Lady
From Hades
You gotta understand it’s not your fault
His fault
Or my fault
It’s just the way it goes when you’re broken
Swollen
Bleeding
Hotlanta's dirge miners present heavy riff force, sure, but also hooks: drive-by melodies that stun and fade as the band, like Jaws, harkens toward blood and chomps folks. Snotty, smart vocals, occult trappings. Thankfully this is a punk (not "post-punk") affair, but I hear Gordons and Flesh Eaters as well as (Australian) X, The Eat or Filth.
